Marc’s Mediterranean Cuisine & Garden

A restful, flavourful restaurant, permeated by a passion for food, ambience and fine wine – the 2006 wine list won an Award of Excellence in its 2nd entry in the annual Diners Club International Wine list of the Year Awards. (It took Gold in 2005). Owner Marc Friederich, an experienced restaurateur and award-winning sommelier, subscribes to the Mediterranean habit of expressing hospitality through food. Out of more than 80 dishes that can be part of a mezze, Marc has carefully selected the best known and most popular, namely Tabbouleh, Dolmades, Hummus Beyrouti, Louibé bel zeit, Tzatziki, Spanakopitas, Olives, Beef and Lamb Kibbi, Oven-roasted chicken wings Oven roasted peppers and pickles.

Bosman’s & Bistro Allegro at Grande Roche

Member of the Relais & Chateaux Group. The recently renovated manor house at Grande Roche is the heart of the hotel and home to the award-winning Bosman's Restaurant. A fusion of imaginative and innovative epicurean delights will tantalize the most discerning of palates.

Bosman's is a 70-seater restaurant with a terrace and patio seating 60 in fine weather. It is open seven days a week. For groups of eight or more, the Banqueting department will help to choose a menu to suit the guest and the occasion. Dress code for the restaurant is smart - no "Jacket & Tie" requirement. A sumptuous selection of the Cape's finest fare can be enjoyed in the relaxed and contemporary Bistro Allegro. Choose to enjoy your meal out on the pool patio or in its modern, colourful interior. There are fabulous dishes to savour like fresh salads, seafood, pastas, mouth-watering club sandwiches, delicious desserts, cakes and cheese platters. The Bistro Allegro is the perfect place for a pleasant and informal meal.

De Leuwen Jagt Restaurant

At De Leuwen Jagt the traditional South African Cape Malay menu is inspired by world-renowned chef Cas Abraham. Cape Cuisine is a melange of richly satisfying, subtly spiced dishes, which are now regarded as Cape Malay Cuisine. Defining its essence is hard to do, for the input of many of the peoples of the Cape played a part in the rich tapestry of the ingredients, cooking methods and spicing. Cape Cuisine, which today is as exciting, colourful and varied as the Cape itself, is widely recognised as a unique aspect of the local culture. It is a highly sought after culinary experience demanded by tourist and locals who visit our shores. Expect dishes like smoorsnoek with cabbage, samoosas, pickled fish, venison pie, bobotie, chicken and yoghurt curry and milk tart on the menu.
