Horse Riding / Wine Valley Horse Trails
All you need on a horse-trail is a spirit of adventure - the rest is provided by Rhebokskloof Wine Farm! The stables are located on Rhebokskloof Estate and trails are led through scenic paths in the winelands and forest. Each excursion is guided by a skilled rider, ensuring that trails are well supervised and safe, yet still exhilarating for more experienced riders. Horses are matched to the skill level of the riders, so total beginners are as welcome as the more experienced. You can choose between a short or a long trail, hunting and endurance riding. For the more sedate, you’ll find a ride in our horse-drawn wagon/carriages a wonderful experience.
There are a number of hiking trails in the area, ranging from short walk to multi-day trails. There is also the Laborie Wine Hiking Trail where you can see the cape flora and bird life on the Laborie Estate, as well as the Limietberg Trail, a two-day trail of 36km for the adventurous and brave.

Among a myriad of wine festivals the opportunity to taste the virgin wines of the 2012 harvest straight from the tanks of several participating farms gives this festival its edge. Visitors can compare the cloudy unfiltered wines with their filtered contemporaries and discuss their experience with the wine makers themselves on farms where the harvest is underway - no ordinary wine tasting here.
