Southern hemispheres longest main road and looking at the beautifully restored national monument private and public homes of Paarl’s residents. Take a walk up to the worlds only
language monument situated on Paarl Rock and admire the beautiful indigenous gardens, which surround this very important part of Paarl and South African history.
Visit the goats and have a mouthwatering glass of wine at
Fairview Wine Estate in Paarl. One could also take a tractor ride between neighbouring farms
Seidelberg Wine Estate and Fairview Cheese Estate or, when in season try your hand at picking fresh strawberries. There are various wine estates situated within close proximity of Cascade Country Manor including world famous
Nederburg Estate,
Ashanti, Kleine Vallei and many more small, exclusive boutique wineries. Also make sure you visit pro-golfer David
Frost’s Wine Estate in Agter-Paarl, home of the Voor Paardeberg Visitors Center where over 40 wines from 6 different wine estates from the area can be tasted and purchased, all under one roof.
Golfing enthusiasts can also take a trip to the 27-hole golf course situated on
Boschenmeer Estate or
Pearl Valley Estate situated just 10 min from Cascade Country Manor.
The neighbouring olive farm, which hosts the brand name of
Buffet Olives, is South Africa's biggest table olive producer. A tour of the factory can always be arranged on request. For those serious hikers or even those seeking a gentle stroll amongst immaculate fynbos hills and mountains there will definitely be something that will prickle your interest.

Whether it be a continental or English breakfast on the patio overlooking the lawns into the hills or dinner in the Bedford room, you are assured an unforgettable culinary experience.
Lunch and Dinners are available on request, from gourmet grills on the patio for a group to intimate dinners for two at the waterfall. Picnic lunches and snacks can also be arranged for those going on day outings.
Be sure to indulge in the chef’s selection of cold meats and salami’s, which is cured by the chef himself. All ingredients are of the highest quality and fresh produce is grown on the estate, which includes our own vegetable and herb garden.
If you visit for three nights or longer, your stay at Cascade Country Manor includes a complimentary two-course dinner on the first night. (Subject to 2 adults sharing and paying full price. Beverages not included. Conditions apply).
